From Junction 11 of the M62 follow the A574 (Birchwood Way). Turn left on the Moss Gate and straight on at the next two roundabouts. Risley Moss is immediately after the second roundabout.
You could also take the bus from Warrington which generally stops at Ordnance Avenue and Moss Gate.
Risley Moss is a small nature reserve that offers a selection of circular walks with relatively good paths (generally hard stone -rutted in places, but should not cause a problem). Good for bird watching. It is one of the only remaining moss lands in Cheshire.
There are disabled toilets in the visitor centre. Along the routes you will find several resting points and picnic tables that allow wheelchair access.
