Walk description:

The main car park is at Waterways, off Cromwell Avenue. You could also take the bus from Warrington Bus Station. No.18 to Callands or No.16 to Dallam.

Sankey is based around one of the first canals in Britian. This is a nice inner city park that offers a selection of paths to various points of interest.

The paths were mainly tarmac.

Mainly tarmac paths, but there are paths for the more adventurous!

Easy pleasant stroll alongside the canal. It is possible to return on the opposite side of the canal but the
terrain is compacted stone rather that tarmac - still OK for buggies though.
