When you get to Exmouth, head for the Sea Front. There is parking all along here.
The walk starts from just past the Beach pub, and continues along the Esplanade. When you get opposite the clock which is on your left, there is a small garden for you to walk around.
When you come back out of the garden, turn left and continue the walk along the sea front. You will walk past the Pavilion Theatre and past Exmouth funpark. You will then walk by small picnic areas at the side of the road.
Keep walking until you see the Foxhole's Kiosk. Here you can continue along the sea front for a further half a mile until you will need to turn around and walk back.
If you want to walk a different way back, at the Foxhole's kiosk follow the road around to the left. When you get to a mini roundabout, turn left down Maer Road. Walk along this road until you see Maer Road carpark on your right. Turn left here into The maer.
Walk along the pathway. On your left you will see a picnic and barbecue area. keep walking straight on past the tennis court. At the fork in the pathway continue straight on until you get to the road. (Carlton Hill)
Cross over and continue along the pathway in front of you. Walk all the way to the end of this pathway until you get to Alexander Terrace. Cross the road and in front of you is Manor Garden. You can either walk around these gardens or go left down Alexander Terrace back to the sea front.
You can start this walk from where you park and make it as long or as short as you wish.
