Walk description:

The entrance to the park is off the A382 Bovey Tracey to Newton Abbot Road, 300m south of the Drumbridges roundabout on the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Expressway. For Sat Nav users the postcode isTQ12 6QG.

There is a minimal parking fee.

Stover Country Park contains over 114 acres of woodland, heathland, grassland, lake and marsh. It substain a substantial variety of wildlife.

The Nature Interpretation Centre opened in 2000 and is situated near the entrance of the park, and consists of a visitor centre and public toilets.

Additional notes:

At the Park there is a mixture of surfaced and unsurfaced paths. You need to go and explore and find one that is suitable to you.

What a lovely park. There are many different trails to follow which are suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.
Worth taking a picnic , as there is no cafe. Differently worth a visit.

My husband is disabled and uses an electric buggy; this Country Park is well laid out with fairly easy
traveling, some areas have wooden access piers where you can see a variety of wildlife. We went to see the Ted
Hughes poetry markers. Some were inaccessible for the buggy but we could see most of them. Excellent day out.
