The Bournemouth Loop is a 10 mile circular walk around the parks & Open Spaces in the East of the Town.
The route takes you along almost 3 miles of Bournemouth's Award winning beaches, through Hengistbury Head, a local nature reserve, SSSI and scheduled ancient monument, and then along the picturesque River Stour through the historic areas of Tuckton, Iford and Sheepwash.
It then heads away from the water and across the old Cooper Dean land at Littledown before turning into two of Bournemouth’s original 5 parks - Queens Park and Kings Park.
The walk is suitable for for all including cycles and will take approx 4 - 5 hours on foot.
A self guiding leaflet can be obtained from the Town Hall, Bournemouth or any public library within Bournemouth. Alternatively, please telephone The Community Parks & Countryside Team on 01202 437801
