To find this walk you have to drive all the way through Abbotsbury heading westward. Just outside Abbotsbury you will see a sign for Chesil Beach and the Sub Tropical gardens. Turn left here and you will come to Chesil Beach car park on your left. Drive into the car park. At the bottom of the car park are toilets, including disabled toilets.
To the right of the toilet is a pathway back to the road that you turned off to enter the car park. This this path is to narrow for your wheelchair or buggy then go out of the carpark entrance . Turn left and walk down to the mini Roundabout.
Turn right at the mini roundabout and go through a large metal gate. This will take you along a restricted access road. This route leads to West Bexington.
The terrain is easy for the first half a mile. After this the road has some pothole and can be wet and muddy at times. Also shingle from the beach covers some of the road. If able keep going along this road for just under a mile. You will come to a sign for the National Trust. After this the terrain is not suitable for any wheelchairs, and most buggys would find it difficult'
This walk take you along the Chesil Beach. There are no cafes or eating facilities. However there eating facilities in the quant village of Abbotsbury.
