Walk description:

From Yeovil drive along the A37 to Dorchester. When you get to Dorchester, drive up a hill called The Grove, until you get to mini roundabout. Go straight across and then turn left, and then immediately right. This is West Walk Way. There is limited short stay parking here. The gardens are then on your rights.

If there are no space for parking, there are numerous car parks around Dorchester town centre.

The gardens has tarmac pathways throuhout, which makes it wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Around the park you can see an ornate victorian clock tower, a bandstand and a fountain.

At the far end of the park are some tennis courts and a bowling green. There is also a children recreation area in the middle of the park.
