Walk description:

Drive out of Bournemouth on the A338. When you get to Ashley Hearth roundabout, Moor Valley is sign posted on brown information signs. It is about ten miles from Bournemouth. for Sat Nav. user the postcode is BH24 2ET

Moors Valley is open nearly every day of the year. There is no admission fee but there is a parking charge.

It has several walks and trails to walk around. Some are suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. To find out whichs one are, there is an information centre by the car park.

Additional notes:

you can make the walks as long or as short as you wish. It is worth collecting a map from the information centre before you start.

There is a play area for children and also a play trail which is a one mile trail through the forest.

There is also a mini steam train ride that does a round trip along the banks of the Moors Lake. However this is only open at certain times.

The walk around Moor lake is Tarmac so is ideal for wheelcahairs and buggies. The nature trail is part tarmac and part gravel. Both these walks are fairly flat.

There are toilet and baby changing facilities. There is also a restaurant and take away service as well as various picnic areas.
