Start at the Harbour in Dysart beside Harbourmaster's House, the home of the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust. There is an exhibition of the Fife Coastal Path within the buildoing as well as an excellent cafe. Follow the path through the old harbour (cobbled) along the side of Harbourmasters House. The path then goes through a short, low tunnel before running across a large grassy area. Continue along this path, rising up until you reach Ravenscraig Park, where there are several tarmac routes.

Additional notes:

From the car park at Harbour masters House there is a short section of the Fife Coastal Path, which is tarmac all the way along towards the Braes towards West Wemyss.
