Stanley Park

Walk description:

There is free parking just outside Stanley Park, which is next to Bayhouse School. Walk through Stanley Park. The terrain is made up of a tarmac path, and is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Please note there is a gradually incline. At the top of the park you will come to Charles Osborn Gardens. You can go in here but there are steps.

Walk by Charles Osborn Gardens, and in front of you is Alver Bank Hotel. Turn left here and walk down the opposite of Stanley Park. When you get to the end of the path, walk out of the Park. Turn left and walk along Western Way. At the end of the road turn left again and walk back to your car.

A pleasant park which is ideal to sit and have a picnic.

I walked through the park but found it a fairly short walk. Ideal if you just wish to go and let the kids run
around or sit and read.
