Walk description:

Starts at the end of the car park for the Lostock Arms Pub, which is located just off Middlebrook Drive. Runs in an easterly direction for two miles and exits at Gilnow Lane, located off Deane Rd, half a mile from Bolton Town Centre.

Additional notes:

This is a very flat 2 mile walk for those with buggies or wheelchairs. The Middlebrook route lies within the shallow sided Middlebrook Valley, and follows the route of a railway on one side, and the Middlebrook River on the other. The route has a very good surface due to its dual use as a cycleway and is a quiet getaway from the surrounding urban areas.
