Walk description:

Flat route round newly created lake resulting from gravel extraction. Benches and perching posts round the lake which is adjacent to another lake that is publicly accessible but with rougher grass paths. Free access. There is a bird hide in the nature reserve that has unlimited access if you purchase of a key for £10 from the Lower Windrush Valley Project email:lwvp@oxfordshire.gov.uk for more details.


Additional notes:

Park at the Rushy Common Nature Reserve car park. Off the B4022 at Oxford Hill, from the traffic lights follow the Stanton Harcourt Road for about two miles. This is a very narrow lane so go cautiously.
