Walk along Minehead Sea front to the Quay

LOCALITY: Minehead, Somerset
DISTANCE: 3 miles (4.83 km)

Walk description:

This walk starts at the Golf Club and continues all the way around to the Quay. The terrain is a tarmac path which is suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

Just before the Quay the pavement ends and you have to walk along a short section of road until you get to the Quay on your right. You can either turn around here, or continue along the road.

When you get to the next turning on your right, turn right and walk along the Quay. You then need to turn around and retrace your steps.

If you wish at the turning where you turned into the Quay, go straight on. When you can rejoin the pavement and continue a short distance until you get to Culvercliffe walk.

This is a short walk up to a wooded area which has seating overlooking the sea.

There is also a picnic area here.


Additional notes:

You can park anywhere along this walk for a small fee.

There are plenty of eating facilities and toilets along the walk.
