Walk description:

There are several car parks around Wells town centre. To get to this walk you go up the High Street into the market place. In front of you is an archway that leads to the Bishop's Palace. The walk is around the outside of this. It is a 'there and back' walk that goes along side the Bishop's palace. There are benches all along this route


Additional notes:

just after you start this walk on your right is an entrance to a recreation ground. Inside there is an enclosed children's play area. There is also a bandstand that at various times of the year that has brass bands playing. The recreation area leads on to a football pitch which is ideal for ball games when not in use.
To the left of the archway that leads to this walk is the entrance to wells cathedral green.
The town has several cafes and shop to visit if you wish.
