Norbury Guided Health Walk

Walk description:

Meet every Thursday at 1.30pm in the ticket office at Norbury train station.

Take a left out of the train station and cross over the road entering into Norbury Park. Follow the path straight ahead until it branches off to the left and up to Green Lane.

Cross over the road using the island and turn right. Turn left into Hillcote Avenue and follow road around into Gibsons Hill. Turn left and at the end cross over the road and enter into Norwood Grove.

Follow the path around the left hand side and up the hill towards the White House. Enter in the House gardens through the metal gate and follow path around to the left passing by the left side of the House. Take the left pavement path and follow down the hill until you get to The Rookery entrance on the left.

Wander around The Rookery and then exit at the top and turn left past the Cafe. Follow Covington Way down the hill and then turn right into Gibsons Hill again.

Follow all the way to the main road, turn right and cross over at an insland. Turn left into Harefield Road and follow the path in Norbury Park along and back to the entrance again.


Additional notes:

There is on-street Pay & Display parking in neighbouring roads.

Toilets can be found at Norbury train station and also in Norwood Grove to the side of the White House.

The terrain can be bumpy in some places such as the path up towards The Rookery.
