Walk description:

There is a signpost within the car park which shows you a map of Nightingale Woodland and gives you a choice of 3 walks. They are all colour coded and then signposted throughout.

Additional notes:

I have rated this as a 4 because it is very well kept, clean and the pathway is hard surfaced all the way around.

There is a choice of 3 walks that you can do. The blue route called 'Heron' is 1.75 miles and takes approximately 40/45 minutes.

There are several benches throughout to stop and have a rest or enjoy a picnic.

The car park is free and also has a picnic area.

Nightingale Lane is directly opposite the Nightingale Hotel, which is signposted from the village of South Marston.

You can take dogs and allow them off the lead as long as they are under control.
