Advertising costs April 2009
Our site is structured so you can advertise on either a National, or County basis, depending on your needs. The National homepage is the main landing page at www.walkswithbuggies.com and the County-level homepages are almost the same, but customised for that particular county e.g. www.walkswithbuggies.com/Devon or www.walkswithbuggies.com/Dorset
We know that the vast majority of visitors enter the site at the National homepage, and then funnel down to the County level by selecting their region in the left menu, so as you'd probably expect, the National prices are higher than the individual counties. However if your business is concentrated in one (or two) local regions, then it might be more cost-effective for you to only pay for advertising in those counties rather than the whole of the UK
Inside both the National, and County-level pages, we have two options for banner placements. These are in the page footer, and to the side of the page, thus giving you four different advertising places, all priced differently to suit your budget.
Footer banners
Standard size footer banners (468x60) appear on each page, including the map pages.
Side Link Banners
We have space for up to 5 side link banners (where the Google Adwords currently are) and we have a range of sizes available:
Small: 120x60
Medium: 120x90
Large: 120x240
These side links appear on the National & County-level homepages, and also on the Search, Info, links & login pages, but due to the width of the maps, they do not appear on the actual route pages and, as a result, are cheaper advertising spaces than the footer banners.
The table below shows the current prices for each type of advert, for both the National and County-level pages.

Please note: If you are able to supply your banner in a web-ready format, we do not have a minimum contract period for advertising, as we want to ensure you are getting value for money for your budget. We can produce a banner for you if you don't have one available, but we require a six month commitment payable in advance to cover the design costs.
| Alternatively you can also sponsor one of our bi-monthly newsletters, which currently goes to just over 2000 registered subscribers. The newsletter would contain a small article on your product or service, your banner and a link to your site. Cost £50 per newsletter edition. | ||
