Walk description:

Starting from the car park walk towards the main track through the forest.

This will veer off to the left and eventually you will make your way down hill around an S bend.

Keep walking downhill until you come to a T Junction. Head right and walk down this path until you come out at the other car park.

Turn around and make your way back to the picnic area and car park.

Additional notes:

There is a picnic area at the start of the walk. There are many tracks within the woods so there is no need to stick to the walk directions above. If you know you have a sturdy all terrain buggy the bridleways are a great way to explore the woods.

Bluebell walk

I walked this walk yesterday when the bluebells were in full bloom. The wood was breath-taking and looked like
it was covered in a blue carpet. Not only that, the scent in the air was amazing.

The terrain
was made up of a wide compact path with alternative paths available if you wished. The route was up and down
hill, but was not difficult pushing a buggy.

West Woods walk

This lovely walk is no longer suitable for buggies or wheelchairs (certainly not if it has rained). The
corners are a quagmire and urgently need sorting out as this is a lovely walk and should be kept accessible to
both buggies and wheelchairs.
