Walk description:

Upton Country Park is situated on the south side of the A35/A3049., approximately four miles from Poole Town Centre. Follow the brown information sign to the entrance which is on the slip road to Upton. For Sat. Nav. users the postcode is BH17 7BJ

Parking is free.

Upton Country Park is set in more than a hundred acres of woodlands/ parklands and shoreline. It has various walks that are suitable to buggies and wheelchairs. However on some of the walks there are radar padlocks which needs a Radar key to open the bigger gateway entrance. These can be obtain from the park warden. (01202 672625)

There are toilet facilities, which includes disable toilets and baby changing facilities. There is also eating facilities.

Additional notes:

The shoreline walk leads on to the woodlands walks. If you wish to do this as a circular work with buggies or wheelchairs you will need a Radar key. The shoreline walk, walk around Holes bay and overlooks Pergins Island. There are several bird watching areas along this walk.
