Walk description:

Start this walk from the car park and picnic site at Firkin. This can be accessed from the A82, north from Dumbarton or south from Tarbet.

Firkin Point is situated on the west banks of Loch Lomond, at the centre of Loch Lomond Road. With the road streching 3 miles north and 3 miles south, you can choose to walk either of two directions. If you wish you can walk both, to take in as much of the beautiful scenery as possible.

It is level and firm surfaced under foot making it suitable for buggies and wheelchair users.

Additional notes:

If walking south from Firkin Point continue round the headland of Rubha Mor to achieve stunning views down the length of Loch Lomond
