Strathblane Railway Walk

Walk description:

Parking is beside Strathblane Parish Church on Campsie Road. The walk is virtually flat as it is along a derelict railway line, passing Dunglass. It goes all the way to Lennoxtown (four miles). It is possible to continue further. There are stunning views of the Campsie Fells.


Additional notes:

Apart from a short, steep downhill slope at the start, where the surface is a little rough, the path is tarmac all the way to Lennoxtown. The Kirkhouse Inn is next to the church. The nearest disabled toilet is at Clachan of Campsie.(RADAR key.
