Walk description:

When you turn into Quay West you will see a brown sign for Blenheim gardens. Turn left here along Blenheim Road. You can either park out side the Gardens or you can turn left along North Street for the car park.

Blenheim Gardens is a six acre park situated in the centre of Minehead. Originally created in the 1920's it is now a mature, attractive and sheltered haven. The park provides spring and summer bedding displays, and a diverse selection of trees, shrubs and perennials, which thrive in the mild maritime climate.

The flowerbeds and shrub areas are framed by extensive well manicured lawns. The park has a bandstand for summer weekend concerts/brass bands. These events are organised in partnership with ARTlife. For dates and calendar of events, see their website www.artlife-somerset.co.uk

Additional notes:

There is a small café in the Gardens, with a seating area outside. There is no disabled access into the café.

There are toilets in the Gardens, including disabled toilets, but at the time of my visit half of the ladies were closed due to vandalism.
