Starting out from the car park walk along the cemented track until you reach a fork in the road (you will have passed the great wood on your left, where there is a huge old oak tree). take the turning to the right until you reach a fork in the path. Take the right path to the lake.

After walking along the lake you come to a T junction. Take the path to the right. Walk along here until you come to a gate on the left. After walking through the gate head left around the top end of Stanton park. You will come to a steel kissing gate which is accessible for a buggy.

You will now be by the main road and the village of Stanton Fitzwarren will be on your left. Head right towards the main entrance of the park. You will see another kissing gate on your right. Go through this and follow the path and you will come back to the gate which takes you back onto the main path back to the car park.

After going through the gates head left and the car park is approximately 200 metres away.

Additional notes:

You can make the walk shorter if you are short of time or are worried about trying to navigate through the kissing gates. Simply follow the signs back to the car park.

The park is very well signed posted if you wanted to create your own walk.
